I joined the Willett House Family in 2014 as an Animal Nursing Assistant and shortly thereafter started my Veterinary Nursing training. Since qualifying in 2017, I have worked in various roles within the Willett House Veterinary team. Over the years I have had numerous pets however I currently have a young Golden Retriever called Summer. My main interests are inpatient care and medical nursing in which I am completing further courses to further my knowledge. My recent CPD includes; ISFM certificate in feline nursing and various in house training courses.

By law, pets receiving prescription medication must be seen by a vet at least every six months for a check-up and review. Some pets with more serious conditions may benefit from reviews more frequently. If your pet has not had a review within this time, we may ask you and your pet to come in for an appointment before we can dispense further medication.

For prescription flea, tick & worm treatment, your pet only needs to be seen by a vet every twelve months. However, a recent change in the law means that this treatment must be specifically authorised by a vet on your pet's medical record at the time they see your pet. If you have not discussed flea, tick & worm treatment recently with a vet, your pet may need to come in for an additional check-up and review.
