Gill joined Ewell Veterinary Centre in July 2011, bringing with her a lifelong love of animals and birds. She previously ran her own doggie daycare business and has cared for many dogs over the years. Currently, Gill shares her home with two dog’s Ralphie and Evie! Her passion for animals has even taken her abroad during her time in South Africa, she cared for lion cubs and had the unforgettable experience of walking with a cheetah.

By law, pets receiving prescription medication must be seen by a vet at least every six months for a check-up and review. Some pets with more serious conditions may benefit from reviews more frequently. If your pet has not had a review within this time, we may ask you and your pet to come in for an appointment before we can dispense further medication.

For prescription flea, tick & worm treatment, your pet only needs to be seen by a vet every twelve months. However, a recent change in the law means that this treatment must be specifically authorised by a vet on your pet's medical record at the time they see your pet. If you have not discussed flea, tick & worm treatment recently with a vet, your pet may need to come in for an additional check-up and review.
