Lucy Knight, BVetMed CertAVP(SAM) MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine
HEAD VET
Hi I’m Lucy, I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 1994 and have been in small animal practice ever since! I gained my Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Medicine) from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018 and became a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine shortly afterwards. I am also a Veterinary Graduate Development Phase Advisor and Peer Reviewer. I came to Willett House from a Director role in a smaller Hospital and enjoy meeting clients and their pets as well as investigating the patient’s problems in order to improve their quality of life. I’m always happy to tailor my diagnostic and treatment plans to my patient and their family. While I am mostly at our Staines clinic I do occasionally get to come out and see clients at our other branches. Outside work I enjoy swimming, biking, running and kayaking and have a ginger rescue cat called Bob. I also have 2 nearly grown-up sons who are already planning their future pets (cats for my older son and dogs for the youngest)!
