Sami is the Branch Registered Veterinary Nurse at our Bocking surgery. With a background in the rehoming and charity sector, he has a strong passion for animal welfare and client education. Sami particularly enjoys consultations and is always happy to offer advice and reassurance to pet owners. He has a special interest in diet and weight clinics, helping pets stay healthy and happy every day. Outside of work, Sami loves exploring the Notley and Braintree area on long walks with his family dog, Lucy.

By law, pets receiving prescription medication must be seen by a vet at least every six months for a check-up and review. Some pets with more serious conditions may benefit from reviews more frequently. If your pet has not had a review within this time, we may ask you and your pet to come in for an appointment before we can dispense further medication.

For prescription flea, tick & worm treatment, your pet only needs to be seen by a vet every twelve months. However, a recent change in the law means that this treatment must be specifically authorised by a vet on your pet's medical record at the time they see your pet. If you have not discussed flea, tick & worm treatment recently with a vet, your pet may need to come in for an additional check-up and review.
