I became a part of the Willett House team back in 2021 having completed my course and awaiting exams to become an RVN. I have since become Deputy Head Nurse and taking the lead in our theatre area. My weird and wonderful fur pack consist of my ginger rescue cat called Oliver, a grumpy and lovable kitty called Nala, an unhinged and hilarious Ferret called Remi, her partner in crime Cricket and last but not least Deirdre the rehomed Hamster with a lust for mischief. I am a busy person! I aim to develop all areas of nursing but have taken a particularly keen interest within surgical schedule 3 nursing and anaesthesia. I am currently completing my VN merit award in Emergency and Critical Care and Anaesthesia, I have completed a course in understanding and performing CT and one day endeavour to complete a surgical nursing certificate.

By law, pets receiving prescription medication must be seen by a vet at least every six months for a check-up and review. Some pets with more serious conditions may benefit from reviews more frequently. If your pet has not had a review within this time, we may ask you and your pet to come in for an appointment before we can dispense further medication.

For prescription flea, tick & worm treatment, your pet only needs to be seen by a vet every twelve months. However, a recent change in the law means that this treatment must be specifically authorised by a vet on your pet's medical record at the time they see your pet. If you have not discussed flea, tick & worm treatment recently with a vet, your pet may need to come in for an additional check-up and review.
