Tina began her veterinary career at the age of 17 as a trainee nurse, later moving into management. She is now the Client Services Manager for both Pet Care Vets and Penrose Vets. Tina has always loved working in practice, where no two days are ever the same, and feels incredibly lucky to work with two fantastic teams. By law, pets receiving prescription medication must be seen by a vet at least every six months for a check-up and review. Some pets with more serious conditions may benefit from reviews more frequently. If your pet has not had a review within this time, we may ask you and your pet to come in for an appointment before we can dispense further medication.

For prescription flea, tick & worm treatment, your pet only needs to be seen by a vet every twelve months. However, a recent change in the law means that this treatment must be specifically authorised by a vet on your pet's medical record at the time they see your pet. If you have not discussed flea, tick & worm treatment recently with a vet, your pet may need to come in for an additional check-up and review.
