Aspen Veterinary Surgery And Ewell Veterinary Centre Join Kin Vet Community

Aspen Veterinary Surgery in Tolworth, Surrey, and its nearby partner practice, Ewell Veterinary Centre have now become part of Kin Vet Community, a vet-led collective of 22 veterinary practices in the South and East of England. This strategic development reaffirms Kin Vet Communityโ€™s commitment to its practices for sustainably delivering the highest standards of trusted veterinary care and enhancing services for the local community.

Aspen Veterinary Surgery was acquired by Peter Melville BSc BVMS MRCVS and his partner, John Ball, in 1991, and in 1996 they added Ewell Veterinary Centre, building on its 60-year history of serving the local community. The two first opinion practices take pride in offering the highest standards of care with a family feel, which complements Kin Vet Communityโ€™s mission to ensure their communities receive the best veterinary services available.

Peter Melville will stay on as a leader of Aspen and Ewell practices, which will retain their full complement of staff, and said,โ€ The transition to Kin Vet Community was incredibly smooth and thoughtfully managed. Their team is genuinely committed to preserving the culture and care standards we have built.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m confident that both practices are in excellent hands for the future. Itโ€™s clear that Kin Vet Community truly cares about people, both clients and team, and Iโ€™m reassured knowing the practice is being led with such integrity and care.โ€

Kin Vet Community places a strong focus on collaborative support, so that local practices benefit from the shared expertise of the wider group, and aims to lead the way in veterinary excellence. Ciara Mc Cormack MVB MRCVS, CEO of Kin Vet Community, said, โ€œWelcoming Aspen Veterinary Surgery and Ewell Veterinary Centre into Kin Vet Community reflects our shared vision of providing the best possible care for pets within friendly and trusted local practices. Together, we are building a network of community-focused veterinary practices that prioritise the needs of both clients and their animals.โ€
