Preventative and routine care
Keeping your pet happy and healthy starts with good, proactive care. After all, preventing problems before they arise is an ideal outcome.
Our Kin Vet community is committed to keeping your pet healthy and happy. We are on hand to offer a full range of preventative veterinary services to help keep your pet in optimum health all year round.
Pet microchipping
We offer microchipping for all pets – a quick, safe, simple procedure that places a tiny microchip under the skin at the back of your pet’s neck. This links your contact details to your pet, helping to reunite you quickly if they go missing.
Pet vaccinations
Vaccinations are important to protect your pet from infectious disease. Your local Kin Vet can provide tailored advice to keep your pet healthy and protected throughout their life.
Routine checkups and pet owner advice
Regular checkups at every life stage help your vet spot signs of illness early, when treatment is often most effective. They are also a great opportunity to receive expert advice on your pet’s diet, weight, behaviour and overall wellbeing.
Grooming and hygiene visits
Kin Vet practices offer routine care such as nail trims, anal gland expressions and can also help if your pet has any anxiety around grooming – just speak to one of our vets or nurses for advice.
Parasite prevention
Fleas, ticks and worms are common parasites that range from being a minor nuisance to causing more serious health problem for pets – and sometimes for people too. You can speak to your Kin Vet practice team about the best way to protect your pet and your household from parasites and receive a tailored parasiticide treatment plan.
Dental health maintenance
Our vets offer vital oral hygiene services such as cleaning, scaling and polishing to keep your pet’s mouth healthy. You can also book in for regular dental health check-ups to increase the chances of catching oral problems early.
Our community of practices is here to accommodate the needs of your pet, with flexible, friendly care. Simply get in contact with your local Kin Vet practice to find out more about how they can help you with the ongoing preventative care of your pet.
The Kin Care Club
We strive to make it easy and affordable for your pet to receive the best healthcare. That’s why many of our practices offer the Kin Care Club, offering convenient pet health plans for routine healthcare and discounts on everyday essentials, all for one easy monthly payment.
We’ve found that this scheme means that owners can budget more effectively and brings peace-of-mind knowing that your pet’s routine healthcare is taken care of throughout the year.
