Meet Our Team
Lucy Pritchard BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Veterinary Surgeon Lucy graduated from the University of Bristol in 2023 and has since been working in small animal practice, caring for patients ranging from Syrian hamsters to Great Danes. She joined Mercer and Hughes in 2025 and has a particular love for all things feline. At home, she is kept company by her adorable cat, Tinkerbell.
Riven Segall BVM BVS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Riven joined Mercer and Hughes as a veterinary surgeon in early 2025 after graduating from the University of Nottingham. They are currently developing their skills in small animal surgery and consultations, with a keen interest in exotic pets and British wildlife. At home, Riven enjoys time with their lovely dog, Pippa, and hopes to welcome guinea pigs back into the family soon.

Jemma BSc (Hons)
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Jemma is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has been part of the Mercer and Hughes team for three years. She completed her FdSc degree at Sparsholt University Centre before gaining a BSc with honours from Nottingham Trent. Jemma has a strong interest in anaesthesia and surgery, and outside of work she enjoys spending time with her young springer spaniel.

Client Support Administrator
Hannah is a member of the Client Support Administrator team at the Stansted practice.
Jemma Davies
Client Support Administrator
Jemma is a big animal lover with a particular soft spot for dogs. She shares her home with two spaniels and never misses a chance for a puppy cuddle when one visits the surgery.
